Living Objects visited Ashville, North Carolina for Moogfest, a 3-day Halloween music festival celebrating the legacy of Bob Moog, inventor of the Moog Synthesizer. The Freddy sculptures created an extra-terrestrial vibe in the town center and around the event's main music venues. Bands included Massive Attack, Hot Chip, Big Boi, MGMT, Disco Biscuits, RJD2 and Omar Souleyman. Thank you to AC Entertainment, Tessa, Mike and the amazing art crew that worked on this with me, particularly Andrew Martinez.

While partying with a rather drunken Big Boy sculpture, 3 Asheville cuties got written up for drinking in public. They were pissed, but at least they had a big Freddy to keep them company.

The morning after. Big Freddy had a really bad hangover.

Security cam footage of 2 punks stealing two sculptures. They got kicked out of the beer garden in downtown Asheville, and drunkenly stumbled onto 20-ft high struts in the mall to grab the sculptures. Luckilly, after they had their fun, they left them in the care of a friendly bartender, who upon reading about the theft on Facebook, turned them in for a few VIP concert tickets. Below is a picture of where they were taken from, and later re-installed.
